Why LABAN? All our Courses promote the observations, philosophy and teachings of Rudolf Laban. He was a pioneer of movement and dance at a time when the only available dance was ballet and social/folk dance. He developed the ‘Art of Movement’ promoting dance into an art form for professional performance but also for ‘layman’s dance’.
Why INTERNATIONAL? Laban’s influence was known all over Europe in the earlier 1900’s. His influence is still known and delegates come now from many countries to learn and experience this ‘art of movement’.
Why COURSES? It is a place to learn and improve. We have training sessions each morning, there are Laban Studies to promote understanding of the movement principles. It is also a place to explore your own way of moving influenced by these principles. It is a place to delight in inventing, creating and dancing with others.
